Meghan joined the BALI community as a college trainee in BALI’s signature Intensive Leadership and Debate Training Program. She has collaborated with not-for-profit organizations, public and private agencies, and corporations both in the U.S. and around the world on thought leadership practices and models for creating gender equity.
Meghan has designed curricula, written grants, and spearheaded outreach efforts to Corporate Social Responsibility teams, and delivered key note speeches and remarks at events for various feminist initiatives such as United Nation's Commission on the Status of Women.
Meghan has also taught and coached women from the most prestigious and diverse academic institutions, including SUNY and CUNY colleges and universities, Columbia University, Barnard College, New York University, Princeton College, Smith College, College of New Jersey, and many more. She has also developed and taught coursework for NYC Department of Education students.
She has experience working as a communications best practices / public speaking coach with executive level/C-suite employees; recent clients include members of Commercial Real Estate Women of New York (CREW NY) and United Nations Headquarters.
Prior to serving on staff, Meghan interned for BALI Founder/Executive Director, Liz Abzug, and remained an active member of the BALI Alumnae Association. Meghan earned a BA in Theatre and Performance from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Purchase College.
The young women at BALI provide her the inspiration needed to serve her community as an activist for the deaf community, artist, and a lifetime learner. It is with pride that she carries on the vision of Bella Abzug and “inspire[s] women and girls to lead the future.”
