Millie King Entrepreneurship Program at BALI
The Bella Abzug Leadership Institute is excited and proud to announce our new, cutting-edge entrepreneurship training program this August 2016 in New York City.
In honor of Millie King, mother of long-time BALI supporter, trainer and mentor, Kathleen King; Kathleen is the founder of Tate’s Bake Shop, a multi-million dollar bakery catering company that she started in her kitchen, on her family’s farm in Long Island, New York at the age of sixteen.
In collaboration with Kathleen and the with the support of the Kathleen King Charitable Fund, the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute will offer a FREE two-day entrepreneurial training program to college aged young women in New York City and throughout the U.S. The program will be hosted at Hunter College on Tuesday, August 2nd and Wednesday, August 3rd.
The program will be comprised of a series of workshops, lectures, and seminars led by some of the most successful entrepreneurs. Accomplished professional women and men from all sectors, including Corporate Social Responsibility team leaders will mentor and train our students by offering them critical skills and guidance needed to grow as dynamic 21st century entrepreneurial visionaries.
When: Tuesday, August 2nd & Wednesday August 3rd
Where: Hunter College (68th St. and Lexington Avenue)
- Must be a member for the BALI Alumnae Network
- Must be enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate program as of Fall 2016
- Must display interest in business and entrepreneurship
- Must be available both training days
