Oriela Baliaj
Senior Program Associate
Oriela joined BALI’s team as a Program Associate in March 2016. She received her BA in Political Science from Lehman College and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus in Nonprofit Management from the School of Public Affairs at Baruch College. Prior to joining BALI, Oriela was the Education and Workforce Development Intern for the CGI America team at the Clinton Foundation in 2015.
Youth Development and Girls and Women Empowerment are the two issues that Oriela is most passionate about in life, which is why she is very excited to join the BALI team and be a part of its wonderful and much needed programatic work.
Oriela believes that we as a society need to do more and do it better so all girls and young women in the world can have access to all the things they so deserve such as universal health care, quality education, equal professional opportunities and equal pay so they can achieve anything they want in life.
