Mentorship Program

BALI’s Mentorship Program is a program we started last year, so we are currently on our second year and it is offered to all our BALI alumni over the years who are juniors or seniors in High School.

As a participant you will be matched with a professional mentor who works in your intended industry or career. You will spend the year learning about opportunities in the field, networking if possible and also reviewing work you may have for your mentor. Aside from the required orientations organized by BALI, a meet-and-greet and end-of-year dinner, other activities are up to the mentor and mentee to arrange.

Scheduled activities include:

  • Reviewing your resume

  • Participating in mock interviews

  • Discussing career goals, job expectations and employment trends

  • Reviewing college essays and or applications

  • Attending company meetings

  • Participating in professional development workshops together etc.

Who should apply?

  1. BALI Alumni who are currently juniors or seniors in High School in NYC

  2. There is no academic or skills criteria to become part of the program
